萬福閃耀海星 (Ave Maris Stella)

一 萬福閃耀海星，
天主聖善母親，
且又終身童貞，
兼稱天堂福門。		 Hail, bright star of ocean,
God's own Mother blest,
Ever sinless Virgin,
Gate of heavenly rest.
     
二 佳播天使口中，
獲得萬福尊稱，
奠定人間安和，
改變厄娃罪名。		 Taking that sweet Ave,
Which from Gabriel came,
Peace confirm within us,
Changing Eva’s name.
     
三 解除囚徒束縛，
帶給盲者光明，
驅逐我人凶惡，
懇賜諸事安寧。		 Break the captive's fetters,
Light on blindness pure,
All our ills expelling,
Every bliss implore.
     
四 顯示妳為母親，
主前為我代陳，
祂曾屈已降生，
定必慨然俯允。		 Show thyself a Mother,
May the Word divine,
Born for us thine Infant,
Hear our prayers through thine.
     
五 卓爾不群貞母，
良善超越眾人，
釋我所有罪惡，
賞我溫良全貞。		 Virgin all excelling,
Mildest of the mild,
Freed from guilt preserve us,
Meek and undefiled.
     
六 賞我終身純潔，
準備穩妥天程，
引我得見耶穌，
永遠享福天廷。		 Keep our life all spotless,
Make our way secure,
Till we find in Jesus,
Joy forevermore.
     
七 榮歸天主聖父，
至高聖子共融，
永偕天主聖神，
同享福樂無窮。		 Through the highest heaven,
To the almighty Three,
Father, Son, and Spirit,
One same glory be.
